Hon var min musiklärare på lågstadiet. Jag började spela piano med henne när jag var 6 år gammal…Hon var som en extra mamma för mig och idag är hon borta, men hon var färdig med livet och ville hem till sina närmaste som gått bort för länge sedan. Jag skrev detta till henne och till min egen mamma.En barnvisekompositör har gått ur tiden. Gullan Bornemark har avlidit, 98 år gammal. Hennes visor sjöng vi ofta under barndomen. Vila i frid!
Sången "Mamma", jag och min fru sjunger"Love and Devotion" på tre språk, till Gullan, min mamma , och till min frus mamma som har Alzheimers i sista steget, levande död.

Verkligen fint! Man kan inte undvika att bli känslosam när en sådan person som Gullan lämnar oss. Hennes visor har verkligen betytt mycket.

Kul, Gullan drev annars en egen musikskola i Malmö under många år,.Musikleken Blåklockan.
Jag måste höra med mina bekanta även de stött på Gullan i musikskolan. Aneby har lite kändisar ändå, THX Sandberg för att nämna en, även han avliden.
Jag köpte ett ljus som jag tände här hemma för mina föräldrar och mina svärföräldrar, vi åker till kyrkogårdarna en annan dag.

With heavy hearts, our family shares the passing of Sue Martin, founder and owner of ASM Auto Upholstery, known and loved around the world as “Dragon Lady Sue.” After a courageous battle with cancer, she passed peacefully in the comfort of her home, surrounded by family.
Her story began in Taiwan and led her to Dallas, where she built a business through sheer determination, sacrifice, and an extraordinary work ethic. As a woman, an immigrant, and a minority, she faced barriers many of us will never fully understand. Yet she refused to let those challenges determine what she could accomplish.
She was the embodiment of the American Dream. Through ASM Auto Upholstery, she earned a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, honest hard work, and a personality no one could forget. What she built reached far beyond Dallas, bringing her into homes around the world through television and connecting her with thousands of fans.
But her impact was measured in more than business success or recognition. It was in the opportunities she created, the people she helped, and the joy she brought to others. Fearless, outspoken, and completely herself, she loved making people laugh. Knowing she could brighten someone’s day was one of the greatest joys of her life.
To our family, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who showed up for the moments that mattered. Behind that fiery spirit was a deep and enduring love for her family.
To her customers, friends, and fans: thank you for loving her so well. Every kind word, shared laugh, and expression of support became part of the remarkable life she built.
We find comfort in our faith, knowing she is now healed, whole, and reunited in Heaven with the Lord, and her beloved husband. We kindly ask for privacy and grace as our family grieves.
Her legacy lives on in the work of her hands, the lives she touched, and the generations she inspired to believe that their beginnings did not have to limit their future.
We will miss her deeply and carry her love always.
