In the next 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rain is forecasted in Laos with the upper area, including Xayabouly, Vientiane, Xaysomboun, and Xiengkhuang provinces and the central area covering Bolikhamxay, Khammuane, and Savannakhet provinces. The northeastern part of Thailand, specifically Nakhon Phanom, Nong Khai, and Sakon Nakhon provinces, will also be affected.
During 20 and 24 September, moderate to heavy rainfall is forecasted mainly in the upper and central parts of the Lower Mekong Basin.


In the next 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rainfall may cause flash floods in Xayabouly, Vientiane, Bolikhamxay, Khammuane, and Xiengkhuang in Laos; and Nakhon Phanom, Nong Khai, and Sakon Nakhon in Thailand.


Currently, only the water level at Nakhon Phanom station is at alarm level.

Water levels at Paksane and Nakhon Phanom stations are not significantly affected by the storm and are decreasing significantly. Nakhon Phanom is forecasted to return to normal conditions on 21 September.
Pakse is forecasted to reach the alarm level on 22 September, and Khong Chiam on 23 September. They are forecasted to continue to be at the alarm level and increase close to the flood level.
Khong Chiam and Pakse stations are forecasted to reach the alarm levels on 23 and 22 September.
Water levels at downstream stations are forecasted to continue rising. The minimum distance to the flood level at Khong Chiam and Pakse on 24 September is 0.25m and 0.07m, respectively. Stung Treng and Kratie are forecasted to be 0.2 to 0.3 meters close to the alarm levels.

Jag lyssnade och har klarat mig många många gånger tack vare hans visdom.
 
Ja det ser onekligen tyvärr ut som det kan komma väldigt stora mängder regn även när kollar på prognosen för regnmängder via Windy.com för en vecka framåt i tiden som på bifogad bild. Det är ju inget vi ser fram emot men frugan sa idag att hon helst är här på plats i det fall det skulle bli problem och det är ju bara att hålla med. Hittills har det aldrig vatten nått in i frugans hus men en gång ör för mycket!

Får åka till huset i Sriracha, där är vädret ok och sällan översvämningsproblem.
Hemma ingenting, aldrig haft någon översvämning på 6 år.
I Pattaya blir det ibland dock men rinner oftast snabbt bort men hemma vid huset ingenting.

The Royal Irrigation Department reports overflows from the high Ping River have inundated wide portions of downtown Chiang Mai, prompting soldiers and volunteers to dump sandbags to fortify flood walls throughout the city.

The Department’s Chiang Mai office issued an urgent advisory updating the flood situation in the Mueang district, warning that the water depth in the Ping River was expected to rise above 5m between 9pm and 11pm Wednesday, up from 4.45m measured at the Nawarat Bridge at 6am.

Water depth of the Ping River expected to rise above 5m between 9pm and 11pm Wednesday. The Chiang Mai office of the Royal Irrigation Department issued an urgent advisory warning of more flooding. The flood water will reach a depth of water higher than the 5 meters.

The Governor of Chiang Mai, Nirat Pongsitthithavorn, has been closely coordinating with the Royal Department of Irrigation to have mobile units survey the Ping River’s water levels at different sites, particularly those with low elevations, since last night.

Thailands statliga järnväg (SRT) har meddelat att alla tåg till Chiang Mai kommer att stanna vid Lampang från torsdag morgon tills vidare. SRT sa att tåg på väg till Chiang Mai inte kan köra bortom Lampang station på grund av översvämning, så passagerare måste transporteras med buss från Lampang till Chiang Mai stationer istället.

Ping flyter ihop med Nan vid staden Nakhon Sawan och bildar Chao Phraya, som sedan rinner genom Bangkok.

Det mesta vattnet vid den stora översvämningen 2010-11 kom just den vägen.
 
Det ser lungt ut med tropiska lågtryck från Stilla havet för Thailands del.
Men det finns andra väder system som kan dränka norra delen.

Kall luft från Kina och Himalaya som möter varm fuktig luft blir dramatiskt.
Kanske lite för tidigt än.

Chiang Mai Hospital Flooded, Turning Away Non-Urgent Cases​

CHIANG MAI is still heavily flooded to go by Lanna 3 Hospital getting inundated in the middle of the night after knee- to waist-high floodwaters flowed into Soi Sukkasem in Chiang Mai city with this hospital now only accepting urgent cases till Monday Sep. 30, Naewna newspaper and TV Channel 7 said this afternoon (Sep. 26).

With floodwaters in the hospital’s parking lot reaching shin level, doctors, nurses and other staff had to move various medical equipment and supplies to higher places.
