Chao Phraya, Thai Chin and Mae Klong rivers likely to overflow from October 13 to 24

The Office of National Water Resources on Wednesday warned people living along three main rivers in the central basin provinces to brace for overflows from Sunday due to the impact of high tides in the sea.
Deputy spokesman of the office, Thanarote Woraratprasert, said the Chao Phraya, Thai Chin and Mae Klong rivers would likely overflow from October 13 to 24 although floodwaters from upstream provinces were flowing at a lower pace into the Chao Phraya basin since Wednesday.
Thanarote said the floodwaters from the North, coupled with high tides in the sea, could cause flooding in lower areas along the three rivers, especially those outside the flood levees.

Affected areas would be in Samut Prakan, Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom, and Samut Songhkram, he
added .

Under Covid och lockdown i Kina. Om du hade tex. en Huawei telefon och tagit "känsliga" bilder så bara "försvann" dessa bilder från din telefon..
Ja du.. Litar du på CCP och PRC?

Tittade just på denna Youtube video.

IKEA Thailand Invites Customers to Donate Furniture for Flood Victims

17/10/2024

Northern Thailand saw its worst flooding in 30 years. Thousands of families have lost everything, including their homes and hope, as floodwaters and mud cause extensive damage across the region. In response, IKEA Thailand has rallied the community together in support of rebuilding the devastated homes with its IKEA Flooded Room campaign.

In a creative twist on its iconic room ads, IKEA and VML Thailand has reimagined its beautifully styled spaces as flooded rooms, symbolising the widespread destruction caused by the disaster. This striking visual campaign, IKEA Flooded Room, aims to raise awareness and mobilise support for those affected. IKEA is calling on customers to donate their IKEA furniture, or even sell back their old pieces, which will be collected and delivered to families in need, all facilitated by IKEA.

Partnering with The Mirror Foundation, a leading organisation actively working on the ground to assist flood victims, IKEA will ensure that every piece of donated or repurchased furniture reaches the homes of those who need it most.

The IKEA Flooded Room campaign, developed in partnership with VML Thailand, was launched within 24 hours of the disaster to provide immediate relief. This collaboration demonstrates the power of rapid creative response in times of crisis, offering not only immediate help but also hope for the future.

Together, one piece of furniture at a time, IKEA and its customers are helping restore homes and lives in Northern Thailand.

Lite ironiskt att IKEA nu ska öppna sitt femte varuhus i Thailand just i Chang Mai
