Sedan januari har Business Development Department undersökt verksamheter och ledningen av tre affärssektorer – fastigheter, turism och hotell i 9 provinser: Phuket, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui i Surat Thani, Krabi, Phangnga, Chon Buri, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phetchaburi och Bangkok.
Hittills har två turistföretag och tre mäklarföretag i Chon Buri och Prachuap Khiri Khan hittats som använde sig thailändsk nominee, fler branscher ska också kontrolleras av Business Development Department i samarbete med Tourism Authority of Thailand, Department of Special Investigation och Tourist Police.

The Business Development Department is planning to lodge police complaints against seven Thai nationals it accused to be acting as nominees for foreign real estate and tourism companies in Thailand.
The complaint follows the department’s probe into the matter, which was launched earlier this year, Business Development Department’s directorgeneral, Thosapone Dansuputra, told Bangkok Post.
Since January, the department has investigated the operations and management of three business sectors – real estate, tourism and hotels – in 9 provinces, namely Phuket, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui in Surat Thani, Krabi, Phangnga, Chon Buri, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phetchaburi and Bangkok.
