Deputy government secretary Kobsak Pootrakool has promised to sort out problems associated with TM30 within the next two months.
TM30 is the contentious issue of foreigners having to report their whereabouts within 24 hours of arriving at a destination not mentioned on their visa documents.
Fines and refusals to extend visas are the consequences of failing to report.
Kobsak, who attended high-level meetings last week in an effort to resolve matters, indicated to Daily News that work was ongoing on the matter that was a priority along with other obstacles to investors and operators in the tourism sector.
He said that he had talked with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and that other ministerial-level meetings with all concerned would be held to resolve the TM30

There was good news this week from the Secretary-General at the Office of the Prime Minister Dr Kobsak Pootrakool who revealed that the app for immigration reporting to be used by foreigners will be available soon. It is to be called OSS Foreigner and the senior official promised it will help make foreigners feel more welcome in Thailand. It is one part of a complete Thai government digitalisation move ordered by Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak (inset bottom left) to be complete by 2022.
The app is being developed as part of a wider programme by the Thai government being championed by Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak to make Thai public services more efficient with a focus on delivering a better experience to the Thai public.

Kobsak Pootrakool said on Wednesday that foreigners can use the app for all immigration reporting. Simply keying in data and uploading a selfie will be the same as visiting the local immigration office and filing forms and paperwork there.

Det är en myt skapad av filmvärlden. Det hävdas att NSA har den möjligheten.
Det är en myt eftersom en mobiltelefon är en traditionell sändare och mottagare och kommunicerar med GSM radiotorn för att komma in på telenätet. Det är här den går spåra. triangulera positionen från radiotornen och/eller på lokatorsignalen om den är påslagen på telefonen.
Stänger du av telefonen stängs strömmatningen till sändaren och mottagaren och telefonen går inte längre spåra för den kan inte sända sin signal.
Att klocka och larm fortfarande fungerar beror på särskilda klockkretsar i ic-kretsen som man på ett interrupt kan väcka telefonen. Den kan dock inte sända för det finns ingen sådan ström.
Det har spekulerats i om vissa telefoner inte stänger av sig och det är en annan sak. Är den avstängd går det inte, men stänger den inte av sig, då går det.
